Owens Buried Sunday At Oakwood Cemetery Mrs. Minnie Brooks Owens died at her on North Brundidge Street Saturday morning following a long illness. Survived by husband, A. R. Owens of Troy; son, Sgt. Leo Owens of Chanote Field, Illinois; daughter Madolyn Owens, of Troy; sister, Mrs. Tom Collins, of Troy, and other relatives. Funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o’clock from the home with Rev. T. McLeod officiating with McGehee Funeral Home directing. Active pallbearers were J. T. Brown, Carl Floyd, Leo McCall, Fred Collins, Dan Harris and Shep White. Honorary pallbearers were T. J. Weed, Dr. W. F. Stewart, Lee Warren, Kern? Jones, Fred Nall, Dr. T. D.
