Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar
MCCORMICK, GEORGE WASHINGTON ANGUS (1-5-1873 – 7-15-1955)

	George W. McCormick, 83, a resident of Troy, Ala., Route 1, Pike Co., died
Friday night in a Troy hospital.  Surviving are four sons, Lee, Aubrey, and
Fulton McCormick of Troy Route 1 and T. Sgt. Angus McCormick of Shaw AFB, S. C.;
two daughters, Miss Inez and Miss Rebecca McCormick of Troy Route 1; three
grandchildren; one brother, Bartley, of Route 1; and three sisters, Misses
Rachel, Martha, and Lessie McCormick of Route 1.
	Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Elam Primitive Baptist
Church north of  Goshen, Ala., with elders E. D. Gafford and Russell Gibson
officiating.  Burial will be in the churchyard cemetery with McGehee Funeral
Home of Troy directing.
	

Additional Comments:
Mr. McCormick was the son of Neal Alexander and Mary Analiza King McCormick.  He
married Minnie D. Rodgers.
