Family Collection
MYERS, J. B [JOHN BAPTIST], 84, died at his home Sat. [December 30, 1950 at 
County Line, Coffee Co., AL] after a long illness.  Funeral services will be 
held Mon. at 2 p.m. from Mount Zion Church with Elder J. J. Richards 
officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include the 
widow, Mrs. J. B. Myers [second wife Ada Gibbons Myers], Rt. 1, Glenwood; one 
son, O. G. Myers, Samson; and nine grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.  McGehee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
J. B. Myers and family lived at Josie, Pike Co., for many years before moving 
to Coffee Co., and he owned and operated the Myers Store at Josie (which had 
been his mother's), then opened a Myers Store in County Line.
