Beasley - Pike Co., AL Another Pike County resident's obituary. No date on the newspaper clipping. The clipping was found in a Bible which had the names of "Mary F." (assuming it once belonged to the deceased) and also had the name "Margaret S. Grant" Bible is dated January 28, 1847 and again 1860. Mrs. Mary F. Beasley Mrs. Mary Frances Beasley, 84, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Smith, in Katy Heights. (It is assumed that is in Texas, near or in Waco). The body will be sent to Troy, Ala., by Compton's sometime Monday. Funeral services will be held there. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lee Smith and Mrs. B. S. Parks, both of Waco, Texas; one son, E. W. Beasley of Banks, Ala.; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
