Cutts Obit of Matilda (Talbot) Youngblood - Pike Co., AL "MATILDA YOUNGBLOOD Matilda, wife of David Youngblood, departed this life at her home in Pike County on the 22nd day of April, 1883. She was born in Macon County, Alabama October 27, 1825, and moved with her father, Mr. Joel Talbot, to Pike County where she was married to Mr. Youngblood on the 1st day of February, 1844, and moved to her husband's home where she has resided ever since. She was baptized into the fellowship of Lebanon Baptist church by Elder J. I. S. Parker in the year of 1851, and was a consistent and beloved member until her death." Mar 1813 in Edgefield Dist., SC & d. 26 Dec 1887 in Pike Co., AL) married Matilda Talbot (b. 27 Oct 1825 in Macon Co., AL & d. 22 Apr 1883 in Pike Co., AL) on 1 Feb 1844 in Pike Co., AL. They are both buried in Old Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery, SE of Shellhorn, Pike Co., AL.
