Arnold DeWitt Adams
Services for Arnold DeWitt Adams, 56 , of Troy, who died Saturday, November 29,
2003 at Troy Regional Medical Center, were 2 p.m. Monday Dec. 1 at Good Hope
Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Locklar and W.O. Sanders officiating.
Burial was at the Good Hope Cemetery under the direction of Dillard Funeral Home
of Troy.
Visitation was Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dillard Funeral Home.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his father Herman Adams.
He is survived by his wife Linda Sanders Adams of Troy; mother, Eva Mae Adams of
Troy; two daughters, Stephanie Nunnelee of Huntsville and Sandra and Donald
Wilkins of Buford, Ga.; three sons, DeWayne and Nichol Adams of Troy, David and
Teresa Adams of Troy, and Lee Fortune of Hendersonville, N.C.; and nine
grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Brian Adams, John Adams, Mike Adams, Sam Brown, Lowell Carter,
David Sanders, Ralph Shirley and Tommy Spivey. Honorary pallbearers were the
deacons of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Good Hope Cemetery
Trust.
