Obituary Collection of Kathlyn J Folmar
SANDERS, BERTRAM L. “BERT” (b. 11-15-1901 – d. 3-26-1979)

	Bertram L. Sanders, age 77 of Goshen, Ala., Pike Co., died Mon., Mar. 26, 1979,
at a Montgomery hospital.  Services will be Wed., Mar. 28, at 10:30 a.m., at
Goshen Baptist Church, with the reverends Alvin Harms, Bill Morgan, Buddy Hood,
and Neal Jackson officiating.  The body will lie in state at the Sanders home
for one hour before the funeral, being moved the short distance to the church
before 10:30 a.m.
	Burial will be in Goshen [Hillcrest] Cemetery with McGehee-Dillard Funeral Home
of Troy, Ala., directing.    Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Goshen
Baptist Church. 
	Mr. Sanders was the son of Alexander Cadenhead and Cora Dalton Sanders.
	His survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ferrell Sanders of Goshen; one daughter,
Mrs. Mack Sporman of Birmingham, Ala.; one son, W. O. Sanders of Goshen; four
sisters, Mrs. Evelyn West, Luverne, Ala., Mrs. Lurlyn Wingard, Montgomery, Ala.,
Mrs. Rebecca Tate, Mrs. Annie Lou Price of Montgomery; seven grandchildren; and
10 great-grandchildren.
	Any memorial gifts may be made to Goshen Baptist Church.
