Obit of Shadrack Henderson - Pike Co., AL

Death by Accidental Poisoning - On Sunday evening last an old and
respectable citizen of this county, Shadrack Henderson came to his death
by swallowing a large quantity of Colchicum.  When will people learn
that poisons, either animal, vegetable or mineral are nothing but
poisons, and not medicine?" (1)
