Obituary of Seaborn J. Sharpless

Seaborn J. Sharpless, age 79 years, died at Goshen this morning.  He had 
lived in Pike county for over seventy years, coming here as a child with 
his father, Thomas Sharpless from North Carolina.  He was a farmer and 
was counted among the substantial yeomanry of his section until age and 
infirmities retired him from active life.  He was a member of the 
Primitive Baptist church of Hopewell for many years and died faithful to 
its teachings and practices.  He will be buried at Hopewell tomorrow.
