A noble lady has gone. We offer our sympathy to the bereaved ones. [See additional comment which follows] Additional Comments: Annie Bell Hufhan married Samuel E. Trotter on March 4, 1887, in Pike County.. Born December 19, 1867, she died March 6, 1893. She and her husband are buried at Shady Grove Methodist Church Cemetery at Antioch in Pike County. Her tombstone shows her name was “Hufhan.” Transcriptions of records include spellings of “Hufham,” “Hupham,” and “Haufham,” due to original handwritings in census and other records being difficult to interpret.
