Mon, 1 Mar 1999 13:56:21 -0600 Obit of Thomas Johnson - Pike Co., AL The Troy Messenger, Wednesday, August 10, 1910 Thomas Johnson Dies Of Heart Failure Thomas Johnson, aged 69 years, died at his home a few miles above Troy Sunday and was buried at Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church, of which the deceased was a consistent member. Mr. Johnson had been ill for about four weeks of heart dropsy. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Matilda Hattaway, J. T. Johnson, Miss Mary Johnson, Willie Johnson, Mrs. Mittie Floyd, Mrs. H. H. Harris, Mrs. Gertrude Reeves, J. L. Johnson. Two of the children, George Johnson and Mrs. C. E. Poole, are dead.
