Thomas Franklin GRISSETTE, b: 07 Aug 1850 Pike County, Alabama, d: 01 Apr 1932 
Pike County, Alabama.  Married (1) Jane Catherine TAYLOR 04 Apr 1871 Pike 
County, Alabama.  Jane was b: 19 Sep 1854 Pike County, Alabama, d: Sep 1898 
Pike County, Alabama.  They had thirteen children, four boys and nine girls.  
Married (2) Georgia Ann Virginia WELCH 14 Jul 1901 Pike County, Alabama. 
Georgia was b: 17 Oct 1875 Chattahoochee County, Georgia.  They had eight 
children, two boys and six girls.

The information for Thomas Franklin Grissette Jr., his wife Jane C. Taylor,
    and their children, along with the name of his 2nd wife Georgia Ann
    Virginia Welch and the children he had by her was copied from the family
    bible of Tommie Estelle Grissette Cofield in 1977 by Tommie's daughter,
    Frances Lorain Cofield Schofield.



Additional Comments:
Thomas parents were George Washington GRISSETTE b: Abt. 1826 in North 
Carolina, and Agnes Susanna MacDONALD b: May 1832 in South Carolina.  They had 
ten children, six boys and four girls.
