Absolem Jordan, born Absolem B. Jordan, Dale County, Alabama and died 29 May 
1946, Banks, Pike County, Alabama.  He was the eighth child of Jordan Jordan 
and Tereath Catherine Liptrot and married to Mary Martha Meredith.  The couple 
had nine known children.
Mary Martha Meredith Jordan, born 18 Mar 1859, Texas and died 20 Mar 1936, 
Banks, Pike County, Alabama. She was the daughter of William Meredith and 
Betty Conner.
