John Jordan was born 27 Apr 1816, South Carolina and died 15 Apr 1887, Pike 
County, Alabama.  He married Therath Catherine Liptrot in May 1838, Houston 
County, Alabama.  The couple had 8 comfirmed children.  I have been unable to 
document his parents.  If anyone has any information, please email me.
