county clerk or Justice of the Peace for said county Greeting!

    You are hereby authorised to celebrate the rites of Matrimony between John 
Allen Williams and Catherine Uruqhart and this shall be your sufficient 
authority for so doing. 
    Given under my hand and seal this 21st day of August AD. One thousand and 
Eight hundred and twenty Six an American Independence the 51st year.

named persons on the 12 day of Septem in year 1826 Norman Urquhart, J. P. {seal}

This marriage was not in the place where was reported indexed. I had to go book 
by book in the mircofilm for Mont. Co. Al. Names are written on the page 
boarders large making it easier to find. Have a copy of the original. Your help 
is greatly appreciated if you want to add any family relationships to this 
above marriage. Catherine was the daughter of John Urquhart Mont. Co. d. 1844, 
John Allen Williams son of James/Kesiah Williams in Pike Co. Al. They lived in 
Mont/Pike Co. Al. were in the 1830-40-50 census. In 1850 Pike Co. Al. dwelling 
#901.
