History of the Bible: 

This Bible was in the possession of Lollie Young when I visited her with my 
Grandmother Young in Anniston, Alabama, ca. 1972.  Lollie inherited it from 
her mother, Sinie Ann McGill Young (1877-1963).  Sinie must have obtained the 
Bible from the household of Frank and Nan Stephens McGill  when they were 
killed in the car wreck in March, 1932.  Nan  entered all of the information – 
it appears she entered her childrens’ births, then copied her brothers and 
sisters names from the older Stephens Bible. 


Additional Comments:
Andrew Franklin "Frank" McGill was the son of William and Martha Seymour 
McGill of Fairfield Co., SC.
