This file was contributed by: Deborah Gabriel ==================================================================== JUNE 2001 Cemetery Survey of Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Hopewell), Randolph County, AL Township 19, Range 10, Section 27 Surveyed By: Deborah and Jessie BEAN Gabriel June 2001 Pleasant Hill Cemetery is located at Township-19S, Range-10E and Section 27 of Randolph County, AL. This cemetery belonged to the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in the Hopewell Community. The church was destroyed by wind about 1927 and never rebuilt. (Traveling North from Wedowee on U.S. Hwy 431 turn left onto County Road 121 (Swagg Road), at the end of County Road 121 turn left onto County Road 329; travel one-half of a mile turning right onto County Road 99 (Old Island Ford Bridge Road in Swagg Community). Continue traveling County Road 99 after the pavement ends for 1.2 miles, and the cemetery road will veer off to the right of County Road 99. There is a fence surrounding the cemetery.
