BENARD, Agnes Scales (DETROIT, Mich.) Agnes Scales Benard, 78, a Randolph County native who lived in Detroit, Mich., died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, at Providence Hospital, Southfield, Mich. Survivors include her ex-husband, Richard Benard of Detroit; Ms. Benard was the second of six children of the late L. D. and Annie Mae Trammell Scales of Wedowee. She graduated from Randolph County Training School in Roanoke and wed Richard Benard, with whom she mothered five children. HICKS, Cassie Ola Wright (CHICAGO, Ill.) Cassie Hicks, 69, of Chicago died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, at Trinity Hospital, Chicago. Ms. Hicks was a native of Wedowee, daughter of the late Robert and Ida Bell Kimble Wright. WOODGETT, Annie Mae, 51, of Wedowee died Mar 28, 1999 at Wedowee Hospital (Auto Accident); survived by husband, Jack McKissic of Wedowee and father, John Knight of Wedowee.
