Randolph Leader Aug-1936: This church was organized 64 years ago with the services held under a bush arbor for two years, with the Rev. E. W. Jones, of the Louina Circuit, first pastor. There have been 4 churches built including the present nice modern building. On the Pleasant Hill grounds have been three school buildings and each was blown away by a storm. The last one was about the time the Wadley school was built and the children were transferred there. There are only 3 charter members living George Clegg, Mrs. Christina Robison and N. E. L. Early members surnames were: Clegg Harris Kirk McGill Mooty Noell Peavy Robison Stephens Stone The Homecoming was the fourth Sunday in June.
