War Of 1812 Widow's Pension
April 14, 1871 - Temperance Lee, 86, resident of Randolph County, Alabama, widow of
John Lee, who was drafted in Captain John Hardcutt's 
company in Georgia on August 1, 1813 and honorably discharged at Fort Hawkins, Ga.
on Feb. 1, 1814 - she was married under the name of Temperance
Knight to John Lee on Nov. 11, 1804 by Rev. Jacob Bauksten near Wadkinsville, Ga.,
and her husband died at his residence in Randolph County,
Alabama on July 28, 1864 - her application was suspended due to no evidence of
service
