The [Kentucky] state university was represented by J. H. COLEMAN and O. R. WILLETT, and the University of Alabama by N. Howell MORROW and C. A. LEWIS. The state university has the affirmative side of the question, “Resolved, That President Wilson Was Justified in Regarding the Literacy Test as Sufficient Grounds for Vetoing the Burnett Immigration Bill.” The Alabama team received a warm welcome here. The above dispatch is of local as well as state interest. Mr. LEWIS married Miss Ucal STEVENS, of this place [Roanoke], while Mr. MORROW resides at West Point [Georgia] and formerly worked at Rock Mills.
