Anniston Star August 29, 1937
Mrs. G. W. Parker of Wedowee showed us an old china dish of which she has traced 
history back 137 years. This dish was given to her father by a man named 
Bradshaw, who was a hero during the War of 1812. Mrs. Parker said it was given to 
Mr. Bradshaw by his father and to his father by his grandfather. Mrs. Parker's 
father W. W. Bolt gave her the dish when she was only 10 years old. Mrs. Parker 
plans to have this dish reglazed and hand it down to the future generation of her 
family.
