A. Gladney surprised her with a reunion at the home of T. E. Gladney, Lineville, Ala. celebrating her 79th birthday. Five children, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren were present. The children were: Mrs. Carl C. Reed, Anderson, S. C.; Mrs. Phillip Appleby, Auburn; Mrs. Belle Head, Roanoke, Route 1; J. A. Gladney, Carrollton, Ga., and T. E. Gladney. Mrs. Gladney's brothers, Gen. B. F. Weathers, Roanoke aged 91, and J. A. Weathers, Wedowee, aged 86, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Etta Weathers, Wedowee were also present. Besides these there were other relatives from Wedowee, Roanoke, Graham and Notasutga. Two daughters from Florida and a son from near Roanoke did not get to attend.
