Among those of his children present from a distance were W. S. LANE, of Birmingham, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. SINGLETARY and Mr. and Mrs. Pat McGARVIN, of Langdale. Mrs. B. F. [or P.?] REDMOND, of this city, is a daughter. Mr. LANE, we are pleased to note, is now improving in health, after a long and serious illness. He is one of our best citizens.
