P. HEFLIN. “A man who attended the barbecue recently given to the physicians of Jefferson county by Sid LEE told me that the toastmaster called on Wyatt, one of my doctor brothers, to respond to a toast and that he failed to do it. “If it is true, I’ll have to call the clan together, for I do not want it to get abroad that any HEFLIN ever fails to speak when called upon; folks might think we are playing out.
