Lineville Headlight April 21, 1922
On April 8th. the relatives of uncle Coo Hendon honored his 84th birthday with 
the annual Hendon reunion. Uncle Coo, though reaching mature years, still has 
good health, and is doing his part of the farming this spring. There were near 
100 relatives and friends present. At noon a long table was spread with good 
things to eat. Uncle Coo sat at the head of the table and enjoyed the dinner as 
much as a sixteen-year-old plow boy. During the afternoon interesting talks were 
made by the following: Geo. W. Stephens, Brack Taylor, John Hardy and Lonza W. 
Cofield. Uncle Coo received several nice presents on this occasion, and everyone 
wished him many more happy birthdays. J. W. T. Hendon.
