No clue has yet been obtained. The loss falls heavily on Mr. Hester, as he is a very old man, and it was his savings of years. He and his wife lived alone. The Montgomery Advertiser Apr 5, 1891, Mr. Tapley Hester, who was robbed of $1,000 two weeks ago in Randolph County, assisted by his neighbors, has offered a reward of $110 for the apprehousion and delivery of Jack Bennett to the sheriff at Wodowee.
