Anniston Star August 16, 1910
Yesterday a lot of so-called Saints or Holiness people passed through Anniston on 
their way from Etowah to Randolph County. The five that came over from Etowah 
were women. They were met at the depot by two men from Randolph. When the women 
got off the train they were met by the men and kissed each other, this being a 
part of their religion, "to greet one another with a kiss." They were all plain 
people, from their dress, but seemed to be in deep earnest. They had their tent 
with them and will go over into Randolph to hold a protracted meeting. They claim 
that people can live perfectly sanctified here on earth.
