ALGenWeb Archives File Manager Carolyn Golowka, -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Submitted by William Fischer, Jr., February 2001 COWS WANTED ----------------------- I want two of the Finest, Best Milk Cows---with young calves---in Alabama! I will give $5.00 apiece more for them than will any other gentleman in Alabama! Now, I don't want any "Pinters" nor "Quarters;" but "GALLONERS!" So, if you have no cows, except those which you think would give one and a half or two gallons per day "with good treatment" you will sure waste 2 cents postage if you write me! For I am tolerably well acquainted with those "good treatment" cows. I don't want them at any price! But if you have a 4 or 5 gallon cow that can show me, I will fix you so that the "Mezumin" can rattle your jeans J. E. MANN Malone, Ala.
