He sees many changes in this community, and speaks in flattering terms of Wadley. [From The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 28 July 1915, p.1] ---------- The town of Wadley did not exist when Mr. CULPEPPER left southwest Randolph County about 1880, having been founded in the early twentieth century. Louina, less than a mile east of Wadley, had been the main town in the area but was later abandoned.
