T. Mitchell, in the south-west portion of Randolph County, were destroyed by fire, on the morning of the 21st Inst. The fire was discovered about 1 o'clock, a.m. Mr. Mitchell and his lady being absent, there was scarcely anything saved. Mr. Mitchell was attending the meeting of the Masaonic Fraternity at Lineville of which he is a worthy member. The cause of the fire has not as yet been determined. About one hour prior to the discovery of the fire, J.-. Mitchell, son of H. T. Mitchell, came home and went to bed without kindling a light, and he says he saw no sign of fire about the buildings. This said occurrence has made a deep impression upon the community. 0. H. Perryman Additional Comments: Henry Thomas Mitchell married Martha Bean. The couple died in Pyriton Clay County Alabama.
