Fount Randle, succumbs to death's grim sickle. In the ranks, in business, in education and church matters, his measure was always full of stature. Those who knew him best honored him most. How grand he was in faith and christian fortitude the last time I enjoyed his association. It was Memorial Day. In patience, hope and charity he towered above us all. He was the first one on that occasion to congratulate me on my successful solicitation for the old veterans to remain in line until the graves of our buried comrades were visited and decked with flowers. My dear living comrades, we who loved him so, need only to appropriate the example he has left us, of faithfulness to the end, to be ere long in comradeship with him again.
