Since then he has been quite feeble and suffered with rheumatism in the shoulders, but has been at his place of business in the grocery department of T.C. Bingham & Co. regularly. It was here that death came to him without warning yesterday morning. He was on his knees in the store working on a cotton planter when his head fell forward and those nearby lifted him to the counter where he expired, without speaking a word and before a physician could reach him from the drug store nearby. A large crowd of sympathetic friends gathered and soon after conveyed the lifeless form to the home that the deceased had left only a few hours before. Mr. Causey was about sixty years of age and was one of the best known and most popular salesmen in all this section.
