BONNER By Rock Mills Lodge No. 353, F. & A.M. Whereas it has pleased the Supreme Architect of the Universe to call from labor to refreshment our beloved Bro. J.W. Bonner, be it resolved by Rock Mills Lodge No. 353, F. & A.M. first; That we bow with submission to His will, believing that He doeth all things well. Secondly, that we feel keenly the loss his death brings to us. We shall miss his encouraging presence and willingness to lend the helping hand in all things. Also, he was a loving father and there was no truer man to the fraternity; he was a kind husband; all who knew him esteemed him. He was the most manly man we ever knew. Thirdly, to his sorrowing family we offer our sympathy, pledging our prayers and mingling our tears. We weep as Jesus wept. Then looking to Him who promises comfort to them that mourn, we see clarified visions pass the grave and grief of earth; we see by faith the new Jerusulem, where God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death. "Asleep in jesus, blessed sleep, from which none ever wakes to weep." Fourthly, that the secreatary be requested to prepare a copy of these resolutions and send to the bereaved family, and a copy be spread on our minutes and a copy for publication. W.K. Bennett G.B.
