The tragedy occurred near Dudley's store. Walls was arrested and at midnight was carried to Wedowee by the Sheriff and placed in jail. He will be given a preliminary trial here today. The information we have is that whiskey played a prominent part in this terrible affair. It is also alleged that jealousy was involved in it.
