The regular annual meeting of said camp this day, held in the Masonic hall, was called to order by Capt W A HANDLEY, commander, at 10 o’clock, am, and the following proceedings were had: The roll of the camp was called, 135 members being found present. We found that 7 members had died since the last annual meeting of the camp. 20 new members were added to the camp. Our roll shows 210 members at present. The following names are those who have died in the last year: Jeff CONER, R J BREED, M V MULLINS, Larkin TRAYLOR, Capt A J THOMPSON, H H WHITTEN, J I CHILDERS. The following named members were elected delegates to the general reunion, which meets in New Orleans May 19th, and remains in session four days: A J DRIVER, Robt WHEELER, J W BELCHER, G B HENDON, B F WEATHERS, Dr Wm WEATHERS, Wiley HILL, W A HANDLEY, James SLAY, J L HIGGINS, J D PEARSON. On motion, the old officers were re-elected for the ensuing year. There being no further business, the camp adjourned and marched in column to where a barbeced [sic] chicken dinner had been prepared for them. W A HANDLEY, Commander.
