Several interesting discussions were held and the following officers were elected: President, W G FLOYD Vice President, L L WHITE Secretary and Treasurer, W L MARSHALL Health Officer, F R WOOD Censor, P E DEAN Delegates to State Association, L L WHITE and W L MARSHALL Alternates, P E DEAN and J R HOOD The next meeting will be held at Wadley the second Tuesday in May, at which time a barbecue is anticipated. [From The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 15 Jan 1908, p.2] ------------------------------- THE DOCTORS’ OUTING ------------------------------- The doctors of the county had a great time at their barbecue meeting at Wadley Tuesday and Wednesday last week. A good attendance was on hand both days, including several visiting physicians and many citizens of the community. The feast enjoyed was said to be of the very finest sort. The discussions were live, and the recreation delightful. The editor regrets he could not accept a kind invitation to be the guest of the medical men.
