The President, Dr W G FLOYD was in the chair. Dr TRENT, Sr, was elected secretary protem. The following gentlemen were present: H B DISHAROON, W G FLOYD, R C HAYNES, J P LILES, W W STEVENSON, J T STRIPLIN, P G TRENT, Sr, L L WHITE, F R WOOD and J W WOOD. Dr R C HAYNES was elected member of the society. The secretary being absent, the minutes of the previous meeting were not read. A committee to confer with the city officials as to city health officer was appointed, consisting of Drs H B DISHAROON, J T STRIPLIN and J P LILES. Dr W W STEVENSON was elected city health officer for Roanoke, Dr J W WOOD for Wadley and Dr J C SWANN for Wedowee. The secretary and treasurer being absent, no annual reports were made. The board of censors reported the issuing of one certificate for disability during the past year. Several cases of importance were reported and discussed by different members present. Drs J C SWANN, W W STEVENSON and J T STRIPLIN were appointed memorial committee on the death of Dr P E DEAN. Annual dues were paid in by H B DISHAROON, W G FLOYD, R C HAYNES, J P LILES, W W STEVENSON, J T STRIPLIN, P G TRENT, Jr, J M WELCH, L L WHITE, F R WOOD and J W WOOD. Dr W G FLOYD was elected president; Dr J W WOOD, vice president; Dr W L MARSHALL, secretary and treasurer; Dr J M WELCH, censor; Dr J T STRIPLIN, county health officer; Drs W G FLOYD and R C HAYNES, delegates to the next State Medical Association; Drs J P LILES and R D PORCH, alternates.
