NEW FIRE COMPANY
----------------------------
For several weeks The Leader has been intending to have an article on the reorganization 
of the Fire Company, but in the rush of other matters has neglected to do so. We are 
pleased to say that the company now has a loyal membership of twelve, as follows:

C N TOMLIN,
S F ABERNATHY,
J D CARROLL,
R O MOOTY,
Wyatt POOL,
Lon SHANKS,
Tom COOK,
John WINDOM.

Mr. EARNEST is Chief, and we predict that he will make a good one. The “boys” should 
be given the encouragement and support of the town. They meet twice a month, and as 
soon as the weather and streets admit they will go out for an occasional practice.
