It was a good occasion all around. The first work that was undertaken was the installation of officers, as follows: W. T. HOWELL, C. C.; Carl WEAVER, Adviser-Lieut[ant]; J. M. TUCKER, Banker; W. T. ORR, Clerk; F. G. RUGGLES, Escort; W. A. ARNOLD, Watchman; J. C. JORDAN, Sentry; Managers, E. R. TAYLOR, S. C. FAUSETT, F. M. HORNSBY. The last work was done in conferring the Morning Degree, there being eight candidates. [From The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 6 January 1915, p.1]
