J. Roberts and Jack Philpots, both farmers of the Corinth North community, were burned to the ground Tuesday morning about 1 o'clock. All of the contents of the barns, including the livestock were completely destroyed. Roberts suffered the heaviest loss. It is said that his barn contained two mules, two mares, two cows, seven hogs, an automobile, wagon and farming tools and a large quaintly of feed. It is said that! the loss was over $2,000. It is said that the barn of Philpots contained a horse, cow, corn, farming tools and wagon. It is supposed that the fires were of incendiary origin.
