Services for Floyd Ackles, 85, of 101 Adams St., Heflin, will be Saturday at 2: 
30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Delta with T.C. Tolbert officiating. 
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Ervin Funeral Home in charge. The 
family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight it at the funeral home. Mr. 
Ackles died Monday at Cleburne County Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. 
Elizabeth Ackles of Heflin; seven daughters Mrs. Ruby Prothro, Mrs. Bernice 
Woods, Mrs. Annie Ruth Ware, Mrs. Verline Ervin, Mrs. Margaret L. Ervin, Mrs. 
Sarah Jennette Harris and Miss Shelia Ackles, all of Heflin; three sons, Willie 
B. Ackles of Lineville, Willie Lee Ackles of Ashland and Charles Ray Ackles of 
Bowdon, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Mavis Welch of Delta; two brothers, Jessie Lee 
Ackles of Lineville and O.D. Ackles of San Diego, Calif.; 49 grandchildren ai id 
17 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the sons-in-law.
