OBITUARIES:

Bennie Lee Adair

   (FRANKLIN, GA.) Bennie Lee Adair, 88, of the Ephesus community, died 
Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1982, at Bowdon Area Hospital following a brief illness.
   Mr. Adair was the husband of Mrs. Lois Yarbrough Adair, to whom he had been 
married for 58 years.  He was an army veteran of World War I.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Hollen E. Adair of 
Columbia, S.C., and Dennis Adair of Villa Rica, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Betty 
Jean Lester of Newnan, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Eady of Veal, Ga., and 
Mrs. Ida Paschal of LaGrange, Ga.; and eight grandchildren, five great-
grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services for Mr. Adair were conducted Friday, Nov. 26, at Ephesus 
Baptist Church by the Revs. Hulett Prince, Chester Craft, Guy Rogers, and 
Bernard Cater, with interment in the church cemetery.
   Steadman Funeral Home of Bowdon in charge of arrangements.
