ADAMSON MRS. AMANDA, of Roanoke, Ala., died at the home of her daughter, 643 
West 14th Street Courts, early Wednesday morning following a brief illness. 
Survivors: Daughters, Mesdames L. D. Satterwhite, Dollie Boykin, both of this 
city; Ella Pearson of Milltown, Ala.; Miss Fannie Adamson of Roanoke, Ala.; son, 
Mr. Edmond Adamson of LaGrange, Ga.; sister, Mrs. Gloria Ann Anderson; brothers, 
Messrs. John, Edmond, all of Wadley, Ala.; Tommie of Roanoke, Ala.; Pankney Hall 
of Birmingham, Ala.; 17 grandchildren, 14 greatgrandchildren, one daughter-in-
law, three sons-in-law, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 
Funeral services will be held Sunday, 1 p.m., In Roanoke, Ala., at the First 
Baptist Church, Rev. H. M. Smith of Gadsden, Ala., officiating. Interment 
Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
