The Atlanta Constitution
Mr. James H. Allen of East Point, an employee of Reynolds Aluminum in Atlanta, 
died Monday of cancer at South Fulton Hospital. He was 47. The funeral will be at 
2 p.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Wedowee, Ala., with burial at the 
church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Bessie Mae Watkins Allen; a son, James 
H. Allen II of East Point; a daughter, Cassandra Allen of East Point; his mother, 
Amanda Davenport Allen of Wedowee, Ala.; two brothers, William Alen of Tampa, 
Fla., and Walter L Allen of Atlanta; and five sisters, Martha A. Houston of 
Chicago, Willia A. Jenkins of Baltimore, Ethel Allen of Morrow, Carolyn A. 
Stewart of Atlanta, and Rosie A. Clark of Wedowee, Ala.
