Roanoke Leader
Mrs. C. A. Alsobrook passed to her reward early last Sunday morning. She had been 
afflicted for several years but had been sick only a short time and death came as 
a welcome relief from suffering. She was especially good and kind to all people 
and was held in high esteem by all who knew her. She had reached the good age of 
74 years. She had been a member of the Primitive Baptist church many years. She 
is survived by her husband, four sons, a large number of grand-children, one 
brother, Mr. R. D. Gay, and one sister, Mrs. W. C. Sewell, of Graham. Interment 
was made at Hillabahatchee Monday at 12:30 o'clock. Rev. L. J. Tally was in 
charge of the funeral service.
