Wheeler H Alsobrook Sr 56 vocational-agriculture teacher at Wadley High School 
for 28 years died Tuesday at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack 
Funeral will be at 3 pm Sunday at the Roanoke Church of God with Minister Gerald 
Roa-mine and Belon Friday and Dr A R Van Cleave officiating. Burial will be in 
Wadley Cemetery Mr. Alsobrook was born Aug 11, 1911, in Crenshaw County Ala a 
son of Mrs. Alice Alsobrook Brantley and the late L M Alsobrook He was a member 
of the Alexander City Church of Christ. He was a graduate of Auburn University 
where he received B S and M S degrees. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club Mason 
and Veterans of Foreign Wars Other survivors include his widow Mrs. Jennie V 
Kennedy Alsobrook Wadley two sons Wheeler II Alsobrook Jr US Army Special Forces 
Vietnam and Randall S Alsobrook Wadley, a brother L C Alsobrook Selma Ala., two 
sisters Mrs. John Payne Elba and Mrs. Jeff Mills Brantley.
