Anniston Star
A six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Arrington was instantly killed at 
their home in the Omaha community when the house was struck by a lightning bolt 
Tuesday afternoon The family was gathered at the dinner table at the noon hour, 
when the bolt struck the house.  No other member or the family was injured. the 
same bolt struck the barn and killed a hog.  Funeral services were held Wednesday 
afternoon at Big Springs. Burial was in the church yard cemetery.
