Services for Edric Arlington Ayres, 62, of Berkley will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at 
Cool Springs United Methodist Church in Randolph County with the Rev. Larry 
Parker and J.L. Sparks officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with 
Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge. Mr. Ayres died Tuesday in 
California. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Suzanne Zuchowski of 
Stockbridge, Ga., and Mrs. Deborah Boothe of Augusta, Ga.; a son, Charles Ayres 
of Conley, Ga.; two sisters, Mrs. Bunice Walls and Mrs. Louise Lovvorn, both of 
Newell; and 10 grandchildren. Mr. Ayres was a native of Randolph County who lived 
in California for the past 20 years. He was a butcher, a World War II veteran, 
and a member of Cool Springs United Methodist Church.
