The Atlanta Constitution
Funeral services for Oran P. Bailey of Dodd Road, Riverdale, will be at 10:30 
a.m. Wednesday in Hemperley's Chapel. The Rev. G. H. Watts will officiate, and 
burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Wedowee, Alabama. Mr. Bailey, 71, was born 
in Randolph County, Ala., and was a retired carpenter and farmer. He was a member 
of the Union City Church of Christ. He died Monday in a private hospital. 
Survivors include his wife, the former Ruby Jane Moore; daughter, Mrs. A. C. 
Henne, Pittsburgh. Pa. four sons. Olton B. Bailey, Hapeville; Chester W. Bailey, 
Mableton; Floyd Bailey, College Park, and Carey Bailey, East Point, and a sister, 
Mrs. Thomas Stuart, Wedowee, Ala.
